The Dunsmuir Chamber
of Commerce is excited to announce its upcoming Volunteer Faire on Sunday, April 30th, from 1:00 pm to
5:00 pm at the Dunsmuir Community Center
(across from the ball field).
The Faire provides an opportunity for community members to come together
to learn about local organizations and find meaningful ways to get involved in volunteer work.
The Volunteer Faire is a free event, and all are welcome to attend. Visitors can learn about a variety of volunteer opportunities available in the area, including working with nonprofits, supporting local schools, and helping with community events. With so many organizations in need of support, this is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the community and get involved with local causes.
“We are thrilled to host this first annual Volunteer Faire in Dunsmuir and bring together organizations and volunteers to work towards our common goal of building a better community,” said the Chamber’s Executive Director, Cheryl Petty. “It’s important to recognize the impact that volunteers have on our community, and we’re excited to showcase the many ways people can get involved.”
The Volunteer Faire will feature information booths from local nonprofits and community organizations. Visitors can connect with representatives from each organization and learn more about their volunteer opportunities, from helping with fundraising events to mentoring youth.
The Volunteer Faire is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to make a difference in the Dunsmuir community. We encourage everyone to attend and learn how they can contribute to building a stronger and more vibrant community.
