Discount Independent Tax Preparation specializes in the basic tax forms, the Federal 1040 and State 540, those forms are $55.00 and $25.00 respectively. Supporting worksheets which are not time-consuming are covered in those prices. The worksheets would cover deductions and credits such as Residential Energy Credits, retirement contributions, tuition and educational expenses worksheets. Schedules A, B, and C are $25.00 extra as long as they are not time-consuming. We also do child tax credits, earned income credit, retirement credits from teachers, or anybody’s salaries will maximize the deductions a working person can claim so they can get the maximum refund back from the IRS . We will be open from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday beginning January 2, 2009.

DUNSMUIR MUSEUM TO BE RE-ESTABLISHED Chamber member Dunsmuir Railroad Depot Historical Society looks forward to re-establishing the Dunsmuir Museum adjacent to the Railroad Display Room. Museum archives have been cataloged and await data entry; rooms have been prepared for Museum display. Residents are encouraged to loan or donate Dunsmuir items of interest. Monetary donations to help Museum development are welcome and can be sent to the Depot Society, P O Box 324, Dunsmuir CA 96025.
