Lend a hand to the river and enjoy free lunch and activities for kids and adults
Show the river you care at the 20th Annual Great River Clean-Up on Saturday, September 15th from 9am to 3pm. Volunteers register from 9-10:30 a.m. at Dunsmuir City Park. Garbage bags, gloves and river access maps are provided, along with a complimentary lunch at noon. Win door prizes and awards for the “Find the Golden Rock” Contest and the best refuse found. Activities for kids and adults are scheduled from 12:30 to 3pm, including art projects, river insect viewing, a Bird Talk and Fly Fishing Q & A forum.
